Production and publication information. The individual characters are too small in this photograph to transcribe safely. 

Catalog information identifies the artist as Jin Jifa (金纪发), the publisher as Shanghai Education Publishing House (上海教育出版社), and the publication date as May 1983.

A specialist poster catalogue translates the principal slogan as: “Study Zhang Haidi, to become a rational, moral, cultured and law-abiding new Communist human being.” Here, however, “rational” is slightly misleading: 有理想 more precisely means “having ideals” or “idealistic.”

The woman pictured is Zhang Haidi (张海迪), who became a nationally promoted model of perseverance and public service in China during the early 1980s.
